Out of Pocket Expenses (OOPEs)

HPS LightTouch™ provides for intuitive recording, approval and reimbursement of OOPEs. OOPEs are subject to company policy.  They allow staff members to make ad-hoc purchases on behalf of the Company using their own finances, for which they will be reimbursed at a later date.

 
 
  OOPEs can be difficult to control and predict.  Ensuring staff use preferred suppliers and submit their OOPEs in a timely manner (so that a company can gauge it's running liability) can be a challenge.  It remains, however, that OOPEs are a practical reality of modern business enabling relatively minor purchases to be made rapidly and assumes that wise choices about what to buy, and where to source it, will be made.
